Intervention (Magic The Gathering)

"Intervention" for #GuildsofRavnica (#MagicTheGathering)

My very first angel for Magic The Gathering. Establishing the mood, pose, expression, the perspective and painting the architecture was very intense. Although I did my best at that time, I now have some thoughts about what I would approach differently. Paintings are often like sport matches: you do your best, and although you kinda win the match, there is still room for improvement next time.

I attached the sketches I've sent in for Integrity and Intervention, and also the more detailed black and white sketch and the color concept
